Installation

ComWavz mounts the antenna either on your roof, chimney, the side of your building or home, or a satisfactory antenna tower (not provided) and point it at one of our local towers to give you a connection. Some installations do not require an outside mount antenna at all, and can be installed with a small box that adheres to the inside of a window.

ComWavz uses a standard set of equipment for installation.

The antenna is a mesh grid about 2’ x 3’, rectangular in size. Because it is a mesh it blends in very well with surrounding backgrounds. A cable is wired from this antenna to a radio we provide (called a “bridge”). From the bridge a Cat 5 Ethernet cable is wired into your home or business. The cable it connected to a power unit that sends electricity over the cable back to the radio and antenna.

ComWavz service can be connected to almost any computer to give a high-speed connection, but it works best with these:
